Eileen Peterson graduated from Northwestern University in 2012. She graduated with a B.S. in Theatre and a double concentration in Directing and Performance and Musical Theatre Performance. Eileen graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.8 and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi. During college Eileen not only studied acting and singing, but also took interest in Dialect Work, Technical Theatre, Improv, and Viewpoints. Eileen has developed skills in costuming, lighting, carpentry, fabrication, scene painting, make-up and hair, as well as wig ventilation. In 2012 Eileen began working as an Associate Company Member at Playhouse on the Square. Eileen worked in the costume shop and performed in many musicals during the 2012 - 2013 season. In August of 2013, Eileen combined her longing to travel with the excitement of a theatre job and moved to Paju, South Korea, where she worked as and Edutainer, bringing the English language to Korean students through musical theatre performance. Since then Eileen has traveled the world to Puerto Rico, Ireland, France, U.K., Japan, and a large portion of the continental United States. But in 2016, Memphis, TN. called her name and she moved back to experience the amazing arts scene there. (She has not been disappointed.) She works as a Community Member at Playhouse on the Square filling many different positions. |
